Check Up Time!!!

The girls had their four and five year check ups yesterday and I think that I was dreading it way more than they were!!! This was when the appointment had just started. That is Dr. Stevenson behind them. We love Dr. Stevenson!!!
They look so happy to be there... Little did they know!!! The whole time we were there Kenidi kept saying to Katie "No shots today huh" I told Katie that I was going to let her be the bearer of bad news.. I am such a meanie huh :)

For Mahryka's kindergarten check up, she had to have her finger pricked... she looks so proud here but she was not happy about it at all!!!

This was right before Kenidi's shots. I waited as long as I could before telling her that she was going to get some. Poor baby!!! She had to get three!!! It made me sooo sad.

ALL DONE!!! It wasn't as bad as they thought it was going to be... well not for Mahryka at least!!! Kenidi actually cried for about an hour after and then milked her owies for the rest of the night... she was extremely proud of her two bandaids though...

I am glad that's over and they made it through... Now we will just have to see how Mommy handles Kindergarten... I think I will be the one crying that day :)

Your girls are so cute! I hate the whole shots thing, but what can ya do?
Kindergarten, ya, you'll cry. I bawled through orientation. I think I was the only one though. That part sucked. Specially when they took the kids to meet the teachers and left us mommies in the adult meeting. "WAH, MY baby is growing up!!"

Heaven help us! You'll do fine!

I've heard moms get together the day of kindergarten and plan a brunch otherwise they all hang out under the windows together crying and watching their "babies"
